This course introduces you to interlocking principles for colour light signals covering the following areas: • The types and levels of interlocking • Classes of route • Junction signalling, point locking and track locking,  • Overlaps, releases, single line controls and train bourne movement authorities. This course is assessed but does not award a competence. The course comprises of four modules which need to be completed in order. Throughout each module, there will be a few questions to check your knowledge, and once all the modules have been completed, you will then be required to complete and pass an assessment.
